Quality certification of electric parts for automobiles
AEC-Q(Automotive Electronic Council) is the document that compiles the minimum reliability evaluation requirements for electronic components applied to automobiles and is commonly used by automotive OEMs worldwide. In addition, domestic automakers are required to evaluate the reliability and quality of automotive electronic modules using lead-free solder (Pb-free) through the ES standard. Only electrical components that pass this rating are recognized as reliable and high quality parts suitable for use in harsh automotive environments.
